(1317)THE EFFECTS OF A LANGUAGE REMEDIATION PROGRAM ONDEVELOPING RECEPTIVE LANGUAGE ON CHILDREN WITHLANGUAGE DISORDERS

摘要

The aim of this study was to determine if the language remediation program which wasdeveloped for the purpose of this study was more effective for developing receptivelanguage for children with language disorders more than the traditional programs. Anexperimental design was used to compare the receptive language skills of 30 childrenwho received the language remediation program with 30 children who were assigned to acontrol group. The results indicated that the language remediation program producedstatistically significant effects on the receptive language of the experimental group. Theresults of the present study also indicated that the experimental group had largervocabularies and sentences than control group.
