This paper challenges the principles of verbal reasoning upon which the common law isbased. It seems that the legal system is not in sync with human intuition. By separatingtechnical knowledge from practical issues, the presentation of tax law constrains theways in which lawyers serve their clients. Tax law education shows how abstract thelegal education process has become.
