摘要

In this paper, a platform to support the project-based learning methodology in signals and systems education is presented. Tree axes of signals and systems were developed: automatic control, signal processing and computational intelligence. Five basic aspects have been considered: 1. Theoretical concepts supported by concept maps and interactive animations. 2. Mathematical analysis and simulation tools for each axes, performed using MATLAB through a TCP/IP service. 3. Emulation tool, which allows data acquisition and distributed simulation of dynamical systems in real-time. 4. Remote experimentation tool, a real process with multiple sensors and actuators that allows to configure different signal and control experiments. 5. Engineering problems proposed to incentive the student to solve them using the theoretical concepts and the analysis, simulation, emulation and experimentation tools. All tools are accessible through Internet, providing to the students a rich environment to support his signal and systems learning activities.
