摘要

The activity coefficient of polymeric solutions has been a subject of importance and several models have been developed in the past. Flory and Huggins developed an expression for the configurational entropy of mixing for a system composed by a solvent and a polymer. Their expression for the activity coefficient has been used for many years even in those cases where it does not predict the real behavior of these systems.
