摘要

Methyl N-phenyl carbamate (MPC) is an important precursor for preparing methylene diphenyl diisocyanate (MDI), which is an important intermediate for the synthesis of polyurethane. A green route for the synthesis of MPC from aniline and dimethyl carbonate (DMC), which is a known green chemical, is becoming attractive for its nontoxic process without using phosgene. In this paper, the MPC synthesis over solid catalysts were studied.
