摘要

Compression test of stiffened panel with impact damage was conducted, where this panel has a thin skin with a small curvature. There are two phases in present test. The first phase is low velocity impact test to investigate damage modes of stiffened curved panel. The second phase is compression test for evaluation of buckling and post buckling behavior of the panel with impact damage growth. Progressive failure analysis was also conducted to understand mechanisms of impact damage initiation and propagation. Then, effect of impact damage on compressive behavior was analyzed by nonlinear post buckling analysis with progressive damage model.
