The housing (1) has thermal adjustment rods (9, 10) arranged orthogonal to wall panels (3, 4) that are arranged opposite to each other. The panels are arranged at ends (11-14) of the rods such that the panels are aligned parallel to each other. The panels comprise bearing seats (24-29) for gearbox driven shafts (7, 8) and are arranged such that the shafts are arranged parallel to the rods. The rods exhibit equal thermal expansion behavior in a range of operating temperatures. One of the panels is axially fixed in the housing, and the other panel is axial displaceably arranged in the housing. An independent claim is also included for a gearbox.
