The collector (2) has first collector housing (4) including a first annular end contact surface (22) and an absorber (16). A heat insulation element (24) is arranged among the mutually facing surfaces of the absorber and the first housing. The second collector housing (6) includes a second annular end contact surface (14) and a transparent cover plate (12). The two housings are joined together at the contact surfaces. A transparent film (26) is arranged at distance from the absorber and the cover plate. The film is a prestressed foil fixed between the contact surfaces of the housings.
