Spectral Isometries, II

摘要

A reduction procedure using Glimm ideals is discussed which allows us to show that unital surjective spectral isometries on certain C*-algebras are Jordan isomorphisms, in particular in the case of unital separable C*-algebras with totally disconnected Hausdorff spectrum.
