On Optimal Input in College English Teaching

摘要

This thesis is intended to call more attention to the crucial role of input in LT and LL. On the basis of a study of some relevant theories and current teaching situations, the author proposes the hypothesis of optimal input in college English teaching, which should be an integrative and cohesive system, multidimensional with six major interrelated features: learner-centered, sufficient & comprehensible,authentic & natural, culture-bearing, strategy-involving, and interactive & dynamic.
