Nonunion fracture has different etiologies and the most important etioligioes are imbalance of calcium and phosphat. There are some studies about the effect of Low level laser therapy (LLLT) on fracture and bone healing. We report treatment of a hyperparathyroidic nonunion fracture by LLLT. A 61 year old woman with a history of multiple fractures on lower limbs for more than 15 months with a hyperparathyroid adenoma was treated by LLLT with a 980nm diode laser for 12 sessions. in combination of intravenous laser before surgery After LLLT there were reduction in calcium, alkaline phosphatase level and Callus Formation on nonunion fractures. It could be concluded that LLLT might induced bone formation.
