摘要

We have been investigating and developing Biological Manufacturing Systems, which have such features as the structure, behavior and control mechanism of living things. This paper describes the test results of simulation on a lineless production system for welding process of car chassis. This simulation model has freely movable autonomous equipment. This model is an application of Self-Organizing Simulation, which is based on a "potential field" method where the product demand and the equipment ability are expressed by the mechanics of the "potential field". And also described is the evaluation of the test results including the comparison with a current line-wise production.
