摘要

To characterize the spatial-spectral structure of the frequency response of a generic coupled structural-fluidal system we have developed a Proper Orthogonal Decomposition procedure in the frequency domain (spectral-POD or S-POD). S-POD is applied to analyze the computational dynamics of the steady-state response of a prototype coupled structural-acoustical system consisting of two rooms filled with air and separated by a plate. The method determines governing dominant acoustic and structural modes in the frequency domain.
