摘要

The main challenge in European turbot production is to improve feed formulation in order to optimise growth and fish resistance through the development of health promoting diets. The introduction of probiotics in aquaculture to modulate the intestinalmicroflora has known encouraging results (Gatesoupe, 1999). However, the probiotic strains remain dominant in the gastrointestinal tract only during the dietary treatment. It is unlikely that exogenous administration of a single probiotic will result inlong-term colonisation of the gut. Therefore, It is necessary to develop innovative strategies in order to establish a stable and healthy gastrointestinal microbiota in fish. The aim of this study is to examine the effects of dietary inulin (Raftiline ST) and oligofructose (Raftilose P95) on the growth of turbot and the microbial ecology of the digestive tract both at the larval and weaning stages.
