I teach a special topics course which has worked very well for 20 years: "Black Holes and Cosmic Evolution" (http://www.udel.edu/physics/physl45.) I have taught astronomically-related interdisciplinary courses on "Science and Religion" (taught with a philosopher). "Extraterrestrial Life" (taught with a biologist), and "Popular Writing About Science" (taught with an English faculty member). I have also taught "Ethical Issues in Scientific Resea";h" with a biologist and a philosopher, but this course had no astronomical content. I know this area and could serve on a panel, but a limitation is that many of the interdisciplinary courses I teach go beyond astronomy. I could also do a workshop in this area; while I would focus my attention in this workshop on astronomy, there may be others at the conference who have not wandered off the reservation as far as I have.
