Recently there has been a budding revolution in the medical industry. The push for haptically-driven simulation techniques for training modules has been growing ever stronger. As it stands, doctors who perform tangible procedures train mainly on real tissue, be it from a human or animal cadaver. Soon, however, the majority of the training will take place on a computer, with a complex robotic apparatus to provide the necessary touch feedback.
