摘要

Policymakers are at crossroads worldwide in terms of sustainable energy pathways. Wind power, if used effectively, can contribute to more sustainable energy production, however, government decision-makers must adopt policies that create the conditions for its integration into sustainable regimes. This 6 country study examines wind power development, finding that advanced feed-in tariffs and policy frameworks with a performance-based focus are much more conducive to growth of wind power intensity of the power sector and the development of wind turbine markets.
