The growing demand for natural products makes the marketing of Amazonian palms an alternative for sustainable development of the biodiversity. The Palms have potential for the production of antioxidants, oil and pulp, among others, which are considered as value-added products with high demand into food, pharmaceutical and cosmetic industry. In this study, the characterization of this palm was made. This information was used for understanding the possibilities of this palm as raw material for added value processes. Thus, four possible scenarios are proposed. Scenario 1: Juice production. Scenario 2: Oil production. Scenario 3: Antioxidant production and Scenario 4: the production of all previous and the solid waste are used to produce biogas and biofertilizer. A techno-economic and environmental analysis is presented for each scenario. The analysis was carried out with computational tools. It is demonstrated the prefeasibility of the proposed biorefinery, even at small scale as a result of high value-added obtained products.
