THE FINAL PUBLISHED REPORT ON THE PROJECT OF INVESTIGATION AND RESEARCH RELATED TO AN INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION NETWORK SYSTEM FOR REFRIGERATION AND AIR CONDITIONING

摘要

With nearly non-stop increases in computing power and decreasing hardware cost, the IT revolution proceeds to, not only the controlling system for refrigerating and air conditioning element machine, but also a totally open configuration using information and communication network. Our society established project committee to investigate an information and communication network such as BACnet, LONWORKS, ECHONET, etc. to serve a building automation and control system, two years ago. In this paper, our committee activities are reported and the trend of standardization on IT application to BACS is discussed. Finally, our contents of final published report (CDROM) and the effect of BEMS on the energy saving are described.
