Carbon nanotubes (CNTs) as field emitters have drawn much attention owing to their high aspect ratio more than 300 as well as high chemical inertness and mechanical strength[1]. Although there were many papers reporting the electron emission in diode configuration, the papers regarding the fabrication of triode-type CNT emitters was few. Triode-type emitters are essential for practical application in order to realize low voltage driving, high resolution and full gray-scale imaging.
