Tuning and Understanding Metallo- Supramolecular Coordination Polymers

摘要

The self-assembly of supramolecular polymers has within the last decade attracted increasing attention among chemists and physicists. This attention arises from the unique properties of these polymers, which on one side have been shown to be capable to compete with classical polymer but are on the other side enhanced by the dynamic nature of the supramolecular bond. This dynamic behavior of the supramolecular bond originates from the usage of weak, non-covalent interactions, such as hydrogen bonds, π- π interactions or coordinative bonds.
