In block-selective solvents,diblock copolymers self-assemble to form micellar aggregates with the insoluble block as the core and the soluble block as the corona.1,2 Although the most common morphology for block copolymer micelles is spheres,other structures,such as cylinders or vesicles,have also been observed.3 Most of the studies of block copolymer self-assembly to date have focused on organic materials.The discovery of living anionic ringopening polymerization(ROP)of silicon-bridged [1]ferrocenophane 1(fcSiMe_2)allows access to block copolymers with transition metal atoms in the main chain.
