摘要

It is well known that the flow rate is proportion to the square root of differential pressure in orifice flow meter. This characteristic restricts orifice flow meter in a narrow measuring range. We want to get a linear relation between flow rate and differential pressure to improve the characteristic of orifice flow meter. In this paper, we propose the orifice flow meter of vane type. Several kinds of orifice flow meter of vane type with different shapes are discussed in this paper. The relations between flow rate and differential pressure of them have be analyzed theoretically and the experiments of measuring the P-Q characteristics have be done practically. From analyses and experiments, we get the conclusion that it is possible to design an orifice flow meter of vane type with almost linear P-Q characteristic.
