摘要

The high scattering nature of non-transparent human tissue limits light penetration depth for a number of light based diagnostic and therapeutic techniques. This talk describes an approach that uses the biocompatible chemical agents to administrate the biological tissues so as to reduce the light scattering in the tissue. This has been then demonstrated for the use in optical tomography and low level light emitting probes.
