Secondary aliphatic diamine chain extenders in aliphatic polyurea spray applications

Aliphatic polyurea spray technology has been demonstrated to produce high performance,rapid curing,and light stable coatings.The truly unique application properties and performance characteristics of these coatings enable this technology to provide successful coatings for many demanding applications where other conventional coating systems cannot be employed.Currently,the open time of many aliphatic polyurea systems can be too short,producing coatings with textured and irregular surface.Decreasing the cure rate of these systems will extend the open time of the coatings,thus providing enhanced leveling and flow prior to gel.This will ultimately lead to coatings with a smooth and aesthetically pleasing appearance.
