Methodical basis and progress in the risk analysis and risk assessment of embankment dams in russian federation.

摘要

The subject of this paper is the review of current laws and standards for analysis and quantitative risk assessment for dams in Russian Federation. Difficulties in realization of this procedure for Russian dams of various departemental and servicing jurisdiction are shown. The approach to risk analysis and assessment for dams considering the nuncertainties in information about structures is proposed using the experimence of the B.E. Vedeneev Research Institute of Hydraulic Engineering in safety justification of embankment dasml This approach is based on ICOLD risk analysis and assessment concept.
