Seamless Gear Preselect for Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT) Manual Gear Shift Mode

摘要

Optimizing gear preselect trigger timing in wet dual clutch transmission is proven can save the fuel consumption around 0.8% in virtual test using New European Driving Cycle. The software in the loop technique is used in this paper to investigate a new gear preselect strategy by delay the gear preselect to the time near the gear shifting to create more simple gear shifting control logic that paramount particularly for manual gear shifting mode to avoid wrong gear preselect. This paper use lumped inertia drive train model, including synchronizer and electro hydraulic system that constructed and validated using laboratory test data.
