Iimproved Recommendation of Inner Circular Route in Metropolitan Expressways By Moving Target Simulation Model

摘要

The purpose of this work is to simulate the situations of Inner Circular Route in Metropolitan Expressways by using the theory of Moving Target. According to the survey on traffic flow made by Metropolitan Expressway Public Corporation, the parameters of the simulation (initial usage rate, destinations) were decided to approach the reality. In order to obtain the best capacity of Inner Circular Route and the shortest traveling time, the optimal following distance and velocity gap of each traffic lane must be experimental trialed on the merging parts of each junction, interchange, and the lane changing period. Finally with the traffic-jammed prediction system, the calculated parameters will be reintroduced into the simulation to compare the ideal results with the real situations.
