The paper presents results of original investigations of features of the state estimation of the power system with a quadrature booster, which is differently considered in calculations. In investigations, one takes into account a case, in which characteristic features of the quadrature booster are considered, and a case, in which the quadrature booster is treated as other phase shifters. The state estimation is considered in rectangular coordinate. For different values of data redundancy rate, such indices characterizing features of the power system state estimation as: the number of iterations, a condition number of a coefficient matrix, parameters characterizing accuracy of calculation results are taken into considerations. At the end of the paper, conclusions from the investigations are presented.
