This manuscript covers the notebooks and materials I have put together for adult animals. In 1996 we started to give every pet owner a folder, containing a complete set of health care handouts, when they came in for their pet's annual vaccinations. Now we only give the owner the complete folder when we see an adult pet for the first time. Clients who already have a folder get updates and additions to it every year. We also have sets of handouts to add when the pet reaches geriatric age or goes from kitten or puppy to adult age. These, too, we give out at the time of the pet's annual exam and distemper booster. These handouts and notebooks gain us loyal and educated clients, and they pay for themselves in additional services sold.
