A review is given of the current netron scattering experiments on cuprate oxides. We first discusse the extensive neutron measurements on high T_c oxides; La_(2-x)Sr_xCuO_4 and related La_(1.6-x)NdO_(0.4)Sr_xCuO_4. The second topic is the spin-Peierl system Cu_(1-x)Zn_xGeO_3, where a new type of antiferromagnetic phase has been discovered.
