INTERNATIONAL TRACEABILITY OF MEASUREMENT STANDARDS

摘要

The increasingly stringent requirements of science, technology and international trade for traceability in measurement, lead to the need to demonstrate world-wide equivalence of measurement standards. This paper presents information about international traceability of measurement standards. Based upon the history as well as the basic concept of metrology, some important aspects of traceability would be discussed, and also some suggestions to improve seeking of international traceability are given. The impact of recent developments upon the demands for international equivalence of national measurement standards is briefly discussed.
