4-bit electro-optic analog to digital converter using APE LinbO3 waveguide modulator array

摘要

A 4-bit electrooptic analog-to-digital converter which utilizes an array of Fabry-Perot interferometric modulators composed of anneal proton exchanged LiNbO$-3$/ straight channel waveguide with two parallel reflection end faces is reported. The principles of operation of the Fabry-Perot analog-to-digital converter are described. The design parameters, fabrication procedure, the measurement set-up and first-fruits of the experimental model are reported.
