The Jordan Cove Energy Project is developing a liquefied natural gas (LNG) export terminal near Coos Bay, Oregon that will be capable of producing a maximum of 7.8 million tonnes per annum (MTPA). This strategic location will promote faster and more economical transportation access to Asian markets. The terminal includes gas conditioning, liquefaction, two 160,000 cubic meters (m~3) full containment LNG storage tanks and marine facilities to receive and load LNG carriers. Gas will be supplied by the 229-mile Pacific Connector Gas Pipeline (PCGP) originating from the Malin hub in southern Oregon.
