This article will present the background for and the experiences and results obtained from the EUcofundedproject named Identifying the Logical structure of languages by use of new Interactivemobile services, new diagnostic training methods for development of Key competences, and newEvaluation methods introducing assessment for learning practices (iLike). iLike focuses on engagingand motivating students in the age 13-18 years of age towards learning grammar in English as aForeign language (EFL). The project was conducted in the period 1st December 2012 - 1st December2014. iLike has contained two main components; methodology and development of a software tosupport the methodological approach. It has been used in classrooms in several Euorpean contriesthroughout the project lifetime. This article will explain the background and idea behind the project inshort, and present results obtained from questionnaires and interviews.
