Isolation and partial function analysis of Bacillus coagulans L-g6

A bacterium strain named L-g6 isolated from kitchen garbage, through 16s rRNA sequencing and Biolog GEN III MicroPlate analyzes, was identified as Bacillus coagulans. In the present study, the optimal growth conditions of B.coagulans L-g6 was at 45°C, pH 7 and in the growth of 6 h reached the end of logarithmic phase. B.coagulans L-g6 can break down cellulose, starch, protein, fat;;and the best decomposition effect is protein, followed by starch and cellulose, less fat. In total, B.coagulans L-g6 can be used as a starter production scale degradation of kitchen waste. The research will contribute to the development of micro-ecological preparation of B.coagulans L-g6.
