1. Shale gas is often very rich in many regions. 2. Richer gas provides better recoveries due to a Lean Oil Effect. 3. This modification requires additional residue gas compression, which may be available or require more compression to be installed. 4. We believe this modification will replace a complete RSV conversion due to the following factors: 4.1. Less capital, 4.2. A short shutdown is suggested for the two (2) tie-ins, 4.3. Shorter project schedule, 4.4. No additional mechanical refrigeration is required. 5. A similar modification is possible to increase propane recovery.
