Investigating the Impacts of Family Restriction Strategy on Chinese Children's Smartphone Use Behaviors

摘要

This study explores the attitudes, restriction strategies of parents toward children's smartphone use behaviors and their influencing factors in Chinese culture. Through the qualitative analysis from fifteen Chinese parents, the results show that Chinese family strategies with diversified restrictions are significantly influenced by children's behaviors and social environments. The findings of this study pave way for future large-scale quantitative studies.
