摘要

The objective of this study is to examine the effects of correlated colour temperature and level stimulation of intrinsically photosensitive Retinal Ganglion Cells (ipRGCs) of LED lighting on task performance, visual acuity, physical and psychological effect of university students. In this study, a total of five lighting conditions with two correlated colour temperature and various level stimulation of ipRGCs were tested. Each participant performed an alphanumeric verification task under each lighting condition. The results showed that the lighting with correlated colour temperature of 6 200 K improves alertness when performing visual tasks as compared to 4 000 K, indicating that lighting with correlated colour temperature of 6 200 K is a better choice for work on visual tasks for a duration of 90 minutes and the amount of light stimulation of ipRGCs affects physical and psychological condition of observers.
