摘要

The objective of our study was to examine the effects of ambient light spectral content in different cognitive abilities. We have put special focus on melanopsin activation and deactivation using blue and amber LED illumination with similar irradiance levels. Human participants were assessed using neuropsychological cognitive tests applied within the same illumination conditions, posterior to immersion into different chromatic ambient illumination. Our study suggests that the specific colour pre-stimulation might result in differences in cognitive performance already with short exposure depending on the spectral tuning of the illumination.
