摘要

The challenge of modern traffic simulations is to implement realistic driving behavior of a human driver - a driver model. Basic traffic simulations deal with one-directional traffic flow and implement maneuvers like free moving, following or lane change. For simulations in inter-urban road scenarios, the functionality of the driver model has to be enhanced by related standard behavior e.g. driving on intersections including the needed interactions between the ego-driver and the other road users. The paper outlines a definition for a driver model for basic intersection layouts. Maneuvers and parameters to describe the trajectory and motion profile of the virtual driver are identified. A concept to determine the average values and standard deviations for the parameters is described by analyzing real driver behavior.
