Warning lights for traffic intersection, comprises sets of optical sensors at intersections relaying approaching vehicle headlights to drivers at other intersections

The warning system requires that vehicles travel with low-beam headlights during both day and night, and has rows of optical detectors (1,2,3,4) set in the roadway at each approach to the intersection. The light from the vehicle headlamps is relayed through optic fibres (12,23,34,41) and displayed to other vehicles approaching the intersection which must give way to the first vehicle.
