SPA, which was proposed and applied to many fields including system engineering, artificial intelligence, forecasting, and multi-attribute assessment, can be chosen as a possible method with major hazard installation dynamic classifications on storage tank area of wharf. This paper presents a modeling and simulation system of major hazard installation dynamic classification on wharf storage tank area based on SPA using LabVIEW real-time interface. LabVIEW9.0, which is a platform and development environment for a visual programming language, was used to configure a computer program to model and simulate major hazard installation dynamic classifications. The principal functions of the system are represented in a main block diagram which consists of 16 sub-diagrams , which stimulate the site condition of wharf storage tank area and calculates 11 different index based on Pool fire accident model, VCE model and Gaussian model, respectively. The calculation and data recording are carried out constantly, and the results of major hazard installation dynamic classification are performed simultaneously. The developed computer program has been implemented in a certain chemical wharf located in China. The results showed the status of the dangerous chemicals in chemical wharf were constantly changed with the variation of the dangerous chemicals amount.
