The Higher-Order Aggregate Update Problem

摘要

We present a multi-pass interprocedural analysis and trans-formation for the functional aggregate update problem. Our solutionhandles untyped programs, including unrestricted closures and nestedarrays. Also, it can handle programs that contain a mix of functional anddestructive updates. Correctness of all the analyses and of the transfor-mation itself is proved.
