PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for predicting the higher-order structure of a nucleic acid as represented by G-quartet structure, and a device and program for performing the method. PSOLUTION: Disclosed is a method for predicting the higher-order structure of a nucleic acid sequence, wherein the method comprises a process of extracting a base forming the higher-order structure as a candidate of the higher-order structure in the nucleic acid sequence, a process of extracting a base forming a stem structure as a candidate of the stem structure in the nucleic acid structure, and a process of searching a best combination structure based on the candidate of the higher-order structure and the candidate of the stem structure.
