摘要

Discharge of effluents from municipal wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs) is a route for the introduction of certain organic contaminants into aquatic environment. Earlier studies have reported the occurrence of perfluorochemicals in effluents from WWTPs. In this study, contamination profiles of eighteen target perfluoro analytes (C5 to C14 carboxylic acids, C4, C6-C8 and C10 sulfonic acids and 3 sulfonamides), were determined in wastewater and sludge samples originating from two different Greek WWTPs (Plant A, Athens;;Plant B, Mytilene).
