Histidine-Related Dipeptides, Carnosine, Anserine and Homocarnosine, Possess the CNS Depressant Effects on Mice and their Action Mechanism

摘要

The present results described that the His-related dipeptides such as carnosine possessed the CNS depressant effects, indicating that 2,5-diketopiperazine formation by cyclization of the dipeptides might be one of the action mechanism.
