Structural and Biophysical Investigations of a New Family of Transfection Peptides with Potent siRNA and DNA Delivery Activities

We have designed a family of histidine-rich peptides with potent antimicrobial and nucleic acid transfection activities. In order to better understand and to further ameliorate these biological activities biophysical and structural investigations of the peptide-nucleic acid complexes have been performed.
