Repression of p53 transcriptional activity by p53 tetramerization domain peptide containing PTD and NLS domain

We designed and synthesized p53 tetramerization domain peptides with an effector sequence and protein transduction domain to repress p53 transcriptional activity in vivo. The p53 peptide containing nuclear localization signal was effectively introduced into cells and inhibited the endogenous p53 protein.
