Amphiphilic block polypeptides composed of hydrophilic poly(sarcosine) and hydrophobic (D- or L-Leu-Aib)6, whose hydrophobic block formed left- or right-handed helix, were synthesized. From each polypeptide, nano-ordered tubular molecular assembly was formed. On the other hand, vesicle-type molecular assembly was formed from a mixture of the two polypeptides. Morphology of these molecular assemblies with changing the mixing ratio of the amphiphilic block polypeptides was studied. Further, encapsulation property of the vesicles was investigated.
